Yesterday, March 15th, 2011, will be one of those days that I will never forget. We all have them. Those “spot-weld” moments in life that somehow stay in our memory forever. Some are public experiences like, “where were you when …” and others are personal moments like the day you first had your favorite ice cream or for me the first time I saw Star Wars when I was eleven. I’ll never forget those experiences. Well, yesterday, it happened again.
In a showroom located at ADAC West (atlanta decorative arts center) in Buckhead area of Atlanta, GA, I experienced cinema in a way that I can barely describe. No, it wasn’t 3-D, it wasn’t a hologram, yet I felt I was in the film. Whether it was a scene from “Phantom of the Opera”, “The Dark Knight” or “Captain and Commander”, the sound and picture were flawless. They call it Lumiere Home Cinema. A good friend of mine and his collaborators (who used to work for … well he told me I couldn’t tell you … let’s put it this way … they make those gigantic films that are all the rage these days) have created a custom bult … from scratch … home theater experience that doesn’t rival going to the theater or one of those aforementioned giant theaters, it’s better. “Well, Jayson … how much better?”
That’s the problem you see. I can’t describe it other than to say it’s like being in the movie. You will have to experience it for yourself. The good news is that I can make this happen for you. If you are someone who has been searching for the ultimate home theater. Just let me know and I will make the arrangements. You’ll have to come to Atlanta of course (demo’s are being designed for Los Angeles and NY right now but not available yet) as there is only one demo at this time.
I want to go back. One more thing on my bucket list.
